House of Hiranandani, India’s premium real estate developer and has today unveiled a new luxury real estate enclave featuring a development with residences designed by YOO inspired by Starck, bringing high-end living to Bangalore for the first time.
Signature will comprise three distinct developments bringing the cream of global design talent to India. Horizon, a YOO inspired by Starck project, and Signature Villas, by Patty Mak are both based in Bangalore. Seagull, based in Chennai has been designed by Indian architect, Hafeez Contractor.
With Horizon, House of Hiranandani has secured the first YOO designed project in Bangalore, marking the fourth YOO project in India. London-based property designer firm YOO was co-founded by entrepreneur John Hitchcox and world-leading designer Philippe Starck. The YOO inspired by Starck brand is a collaboration between YOO and Starck that combines a rich tapestry of designs infusing both natural and cultural inspirations. John Hitchcox has pioneered modern living during 25 years working in the real estate industry, and YOO is renowned around the globe for its sophisticated styles and unique public areas that truly enhance a sense of community among residents.
For its Signature Villas project, House of Hiranandani has invited Patty Mak from Suying Designs of Singapore to make her first foray into the Indian market. Known for having a strong sense of intimacy and warmth to her styles – which extend from ethnic and regal to colonial and contemporary – she has built up an enviable reputation designing homes for the rich and famous throughout Singapore, Indonesia, Hong Kong and mainland China. Fusing Eastern elements into a Western setting with subtlety and intensity, Patty Mak’s integrated approach to creating exterior and interior designs will ensure Signature Villas set new standards.

Horizon marks the fourth YOO designed project in India after YOO Pune, in Pune, and Lodha Fiorenza and Lodha Wadala in Mumbai.
